Studio Policies & Guidelines

Arrival:
******Please do not arrive more than 10 minutes before your scheduled class******

This ensures a smooth start for all students and allows instructors time to clean and set up for the following class.

Project Storage:
Due to limited space, projects left at the studio for more than 2 months will, unfortunately, be disposed of.

Please be sure to pick up your child’s finished art pieces in a timely manner to avoid pieces getting lost or unintentionally damaged.

Course Make-Ups:

  • Students may make up missed classes if arrangements are made in advance.

  • Each group has 2 classes/week to allow flexibility for make-ups.

  • If a class is canceled due to inclement weather, notifications will be sent via email and social media with make-up class date options.

Behavior Expectations:

  • Children are expected to behave appropriately in the studio.

  • If a student does not respond to verbal corrections, they may be asked to leave.

  • Children should not run in the studio for safety reasons.

  • If your child requires additional support in school, please communicate this with us so we can provide the best experience.

Grade Levels & Class Placement:

  • Suggested grade levels are provided as a guideline.

  • If your child’s preferred time does not align with their age group, they may be enrolled in a class that fits your schedule.

  • The studio director will differentiate the curriculum as needed to meet your child’s abilities and ensure a positive learning experience.


Private Parties

Studio fee: The studio fee must be paid prior to your party to reserve your spot.

  • Private parties of 5 or more require 2 teachers and 2 hours ($200 studio fee).

  • Private lessons and small groups of 4 or less can have 1 teacher at $50/hour.

If you want to reserve the studio for additional time, please notify us in advance. We are happy to accommodate at the studio rate.

Material fee: (per person, paid the day of the party)

  • 11x14 (Small) Canvas - $10 per participant

  • 16x20 (Large) Canvas - $12 per participant

  • Ceramics (Includes firing + Glaze) - $18 per participant

  • Alcohol Ink - $14 per participant (participant must be 7 years or older)

  • Fiber Art - $10 per participant

Decorations are welcome at your party, but they must be set up and cleaned up within the 15 minutes before and after your scheduled time. You are also welcome to bring any food or drinks you would like to serve your guests, but please remember to bring your own plates, utensils, and serving items.

Participants should be at least five years old. For children younger than five, we ask that a parent accompany them during the party.

Project pick up:

  • If your project can’t be taken home with you the day of your party, we will email you when projects are ready for pickup within 7-10 days following your party.

  • We ask the host family to distribute projects to the party guests. If projects aren’t picked up within 2 months, they will be disposed of.

Cancelation:

  • If your child becomes ill, please notify us as soon as possible, and we will do our best to reschedule your party. Please note that the studio fee is non-refundable for last-minute cancellations. If we need to cancel a party due to weather or staffing issues, we will be happy to reschedule.

Behavior, Late Arrivals and Additional Information:
